Oh...hey, there.
Nardeep is an acclaimed writer, director, and actor hailing from the suburbs of Philly by way of Switzerland. His debut feature, Land of Gold, which he wrote, directed, produced, and starred in, had its world premiere at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival and is the winner of the AT&T Untold Stories Program. Land of Gold will debut on HBO Max on 5/15/23.
Nardeep is the recipient of the 2021 Fall ScreenCraft Film Fund and Silver Award winner in Drama at the 2021 PAGE Screenwriting Awards. He was also a finalist in the 2021 WeScreenplay Feature Contest and a quarterfinalist at the 2020 Slamdance Screenplay Competition.
He studied at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, FAMU International in Prague, Czech Republic, Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB), and recently completed a 5-year training with teacher Stephen Book. You can usually catch him on some mountain likely out of breath. Or pigging out on some delicious street food.
His work spotlights underrepresented communities,
and he splits his time working on thought-provoking, moving, socially relevant narratives and absurdist comedy pieces.
Nardeep is also an accomplished actor. His recent credits include Rebel, SWAT, The Odd Couple, and recurring roles on Why Women Kill, Jane the Virgin, The Bold and the Beautiful, Orbital Redux, and Mira, Royal Detective, where he voices over 35 characters! He's currently starring in Dance Dads, which had its world premiere at the 2022 Austin Film Festival, and Safe Space, which had its world premiere at the 2022 edition of Cinequest.
